I know they have to win 2 more series, but 21-1 odds to win it all ? I dont know if i should put $25 on it or flush the $25 down the drain, I mean it is the NBA, which means anything could happen, right ?

:nono: take the lady out for a drink or buy your boss lunch with it, it will last longer. Orlando has NO CHANCE of winning a title...they will be lucky to win 2 games in the finals this round

Solid value at this price. If they beat Cleveland, they'll be sky high and why couldn't they beat Denver or LA? They matchup fairly well with Cleveland as well. No, they won't stop Lebron, but they have a favorable matchup at nearly every other position plus they can drain treys better than any team remaining.

Or if you want send the money to me and I will bet it on the Cavs. Come on man, the Cavs are on a 2 series sweep and only lost 2 games at home all season. You think they have a chance against that???? Orlando has been spotty at best in this playoff and season.

value this
value that

i heard the same arguments on what value hou was in game 7 on the ml

here's a hint

with these kinds of bets, the only value is the WINNER.

orl at 5-1
orl at 21-1
orl at 100-1

they all pay the same when they lose to clev-la-den

ZERO

will orlando beat clev 4 times in 7 games?
will orlando beat clev in clev in game 7?

no and no

dont waste your money

Stop dreaming about something that won't come true. Its a waste of money, give it to a charity instead.

Damn! Why does Orlando even show up for this series since it's already over???

I didn't say Orlando would win, but at 21-1 odds, you're getting great value. Orlando won the season series 2-1 and has owned Cleveland in recent years.

Value, what point is value if it doesn't win. Those last 3 games were played 2 at Orlando and 1 at Cleveland. Orlando did not beat them at Cleveland and Cleveland have home court advantage.

If you want to make a good profit take Cleveland to win the the Championship at -117

value?

i hear losers at the track talking about value all the time justifying their losing horses.

THERE IS NO VALUE IN A LOSER.

bet it only if you really think THEY WILL WIN 2 MORE SERIES....not because the odds offer "value"

first, orl has to beat cleve.....totally unlikely.

then orl has to beat den or lal? no way.

a nice team, a little mentally fragile with no real go to guy in the crunch......they got by a depleted and dead tired bos team (who they were better than anyway) but they arent as good as clev or lal and i dont think theyre anywhere as good or playing as good as den

Won't happen. 100% sure Orlando won't beat Cleveland.

was it 21-1 that orl would win ONE game?

if so, congrats.

otherwise, you've got 7 wins to go, all likely as an underdog if they happen to beat clev and face la

lol anybody that discounts value is not a winner.

just admit that you dont have the patience to profit on bets that are longshots over the long term.

"no value if it doesnt win" is as dumb as saying "juice doesnt matter if you win"

okay, since you guys made me looks this up and want to keep babbling about value

in the last 20.....TWENTY.....years......1.....ONE three seed has won the nba title, the 2007 spurs who had the best player (tim duncan) in a conf with a weak 1 seed (dal) that lost in round 1.

added to that....only 1...ONE other three seed has even made the nba finals and 2....TWO other teams not seeded 1 or 2 made the finals

so, in essence.....21-1 offers.....ready......

NO VALUE!

it's happened once out of twenty years, just like the odds say!

however, this magic team doesnt have tim duncan and they arent facing a mediocre utah jazz team in the conf finals and an overrated and young cavs team in the nba finals like the spurs did.

You're right, they don't have Tim Duncan, but they do have the best center in the league, and the defensive player of the year. They also have 2 guys who can catch fire from 3point land and can stroke it from anywhere. On top of having Pietrus and Redick who both can hit the 3 ball from deep.

I don't care about history or stats. I look at the matchups and break games down.

Orlando is going to beat the Cavs and we will once again hear Cleveland fans mope and cry for another season. "NEXT YEAR"

While we are doing 3 seed research, go through the #3 seeds and their records over the past 20 years. I'm sure Orlando is better than a vast majority of them.

Cleveland is STILL overrated, just a better team.

I guess my cousin was a F*CKING IDIOT for taking Mine that Bird for $100 in the Kentucky Derby @ 50-1 odds (his wager actually paid 48-1).

How could my cousin be SO DUMB taking a bet that HAD NO VALUE! Well he's approximately 5 dimes richer today for taking a bet with NO VALUE. If he listened to you guys, he would have given the $100 to charity or flushed the money down the toilet.

I personally had Pistons @ 90-1 odds to sweep the Lakers in the 2004 NBA Finals. I was a missed 3 from Kobe from winning this $100 bet that would have paid 9 dimes. Sure the wager didn't win, but it HAD VALUE and should have won. I still made out great on the series as Detroit covered every game.

Cavs will most likely win game #2, but if they don't, this BET HAS SERIOUS VALUE! Have any of you peeps ever heard of hedging?????????
