I have a weird feeling about Montana. They are leaving the polls open for a few more hours because of some unspecified problem. Lots of votes still to come. Strange things can happen while the rest of the country sleeps. We shall see...

I have pretty much voted democrat my whole life with the exception of a few republicans. I voted all democrat last elections, however I kind of wanted to see what the republicans would do with controlling everything. Well I got my answer-nothing. I thought less spending and got runaway spending. I thought less government and got more government in my life than any democrat would of dreamed of. I wanted my pound of flesh for 9/11 and got a war that has no exit plan with no end in sight. Which is in the wrong country and was lied to about reasons for going there. We have an immigration problem with really no southern border. Everybody in America pretty much on both sides wanted some type of fence or something- it took a republican controlled congress what months to pass something. I could go on.

I think the republicans got complacent with controlling everything. They started looking out for who got them there and not why they got voted in. I think Bush as dumb as some of the decisions he has made believes he is doing the best thing, but his ear is being whispered into by people only looking out for their interests and their backers. I also think Bush lost this for the republicans for being so loyal to people in his camp. Rummy for one.

Now that it seems that the democrats have control over the house for sure and possibly the senate- DO SOMETHING with it and that means the right thing. Get the borders under control, get a plan for the iraq, get the spending under control, and finally have some balls to get us off the foreign oil. So we don't have to deal with these fuks in the middle east who have no desire to get along themselves.
