things to consider about Drake : haven't won @ Iowa or even in this series before they won last yr in a long time....5 players on that team are gone that combined for 58pts & 32 reb...... Yes thay are 8-1 but 4 of those gms were NL gms and NC Central should have been the 5th NL gm...... Drakes 5 starters all played in that 75-59 home win last yr and combined for 7pts..... This Drake team didn't even make the NIT last yr, not the kind of team and experience you want to back on the road.....

read the article IE posted, says he's probably gonna play.
I wrote this in your thread as well. I view him as a 15-20 point difference for Iowa. I say this not because of his scoring ability, more for his ability to help take the pressure off of the only other ball handler on the team, Jeff Petersen. Iowa has been destroyed because of the pressure teams have placed on Petersen, and there is literally no one else to help out.

Do you think Tony Freeman is going to be in Top Shape and gelling well with the other ball handlers having only played 1 game so far? Got to discount that 15-20 in my opinion.

He won't be 100% but he says he's ready to play. He asked to sit out the last game because he was afraid he wasn't quite ready to go at full speed and felt he needed to rest it a little more. Should make a difference tonight.

I just hope that if there is any question about his long-term health, he sits out tonight. Its going to be a long season anyway, with a healthy Freeman Iowa might be a .500 ball club.

That said, I'm on Drake tonight which should mean a nice Iowa victory...:mj07:

You didn't watch him against UNI. He came from off the bench and starting hitting 3s. By the end of the game he was playing with a noticeable limp, yet still helped Iowa pull away in what had become a close game. He was worth 15-20 in that game and was not anywhere close to 100%.
