Welcome to Monza track in Italy where high speed and low downforce is what you need to succeed. BMW should rebound from their recent poor performances here.

Qualifying session: Saturday 7:00 am (EDT)

Race: Sunday 8:00 am (EDT)

I have a gut feeling with what i'm seeing from sportsbooks that we might have a rough weekend...:( Tough match ups so far. I'm leaning to one but haven't received yet the info i want so we'll wait and see....

Not much action over here yet  , but really fancy one at Intertops:

Irvine / Button +140 (7/5) in qualifying.

don't see anything the recent test times to make me change my mind!:D

I fancy Irvine!, sorry if it's not clear - the Jags have been killing Renault in the test times (+ in the last GP) + I think he's good value at the price. Having said that I've been wrong before.....;)

cheers

1837 you get the feeling it's that time in the year things winding down so little is offered. Heck I forgot to check your Qlfing picks. So I will have to try the race this week. GL. And if nothing much is up well can't complian with the year as good as it's been.;)

Recap: 3-3  :(

Salo did a stupid mistake by cutting the white line exiting the pit lane and that cost us the match ups.:(

What about Button who just pit once and before the half of the race? His teamate Trulli did the same and they all f*** us:mad: with the fuel economy! What a bluff they did on us...:(

I can't beleive how long Renault team last...:nooo: We will have to remember this for the last 2 races...

End of the year for IRL, only a few left of CART, 2 Formula 1 and 9 of Winston Cup.

The Winston Cup is particularly interesting right now as the championship is up for grabs. Martin leads Marlin by 6 points, Johnson by 40, Stewart by 52 and Gordon by 67.

Looking at the remaining races, I'm starting to believe that Martin may actually win the championship in his last year of racing. His best tracks are those 1-1.5 mile relatively flat ovals and there are 4 of those left in 9 races. Plus he does well at Martinsville and has won in the past at Talladega. IMO, the final will be between him and Stewart. I think now that Marlin has finally lost the points lead you'll see him slip back. He just hasn't been the same driver at all in the 2nd half of the year as he was in the first and he doesn't do particularly well on a lot of the tracks coming up (Martinsville, Phoenix, North Carolina). For that matter Jimmie Johnson hasn't shown anything on those types of tracks either. Here's my free tip of the day :). Short Marlin and Johnson for $30. Essentially you're getting 1/2 odds that neither will win the championship. Sounds pretty good to me. You know full well in the end it will be between, Martin, Stewart and Gordon ;)

Wouldn't you love to see it come down to Homestead?
