Calm down, yo. Obviously the rate of infection is extremely high at this point, but there?s no reason to think that deaths are going to rise. Take a peak across the pond. The UK is only slightly more vaccinated than we are, but they now have 92% of population with antibodies following latest spike of delta. Their cases spiked, but deaths didn?t. We, as in the USA, are running about 6 to 8 weeks behind them. Our Peak will be in about 3-4 weeks, but the deaths will probably not spike. Roughly 2 weeks after that peak, daily cases should be in a free fall like the UK, and our antibody rate will be near their 92%. I had read an epidemiologist predict Delta would help the more vaccinated countries into herd immunity, and it seems to be panning out....at least in the UK
