Does anyone enjoy HBO's original programming as much as I do? Tell me any of the networks that can compete with:

The Sopranos
Sex & the City
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Carnivale (anyone catch the premiere last night)
Band of Brothers
Documentaries
Project Greenlight

I think they're movie line-up is basically average, but they're original programming is where it's at!

I think Curb is the best show on tv. Soprano's was great but it is too long between seasons.I think they lost their edge last year. Or was it two years ago? Seems like a really long time since they did a new one.

I think the start of last season was delayed because of 9/11, and the start of this year was delayed because James Gandolfini (Tony) threatened to walk without a new contract. They did end up reaching a deal but I know the filming was delayed. I believe it is starting up in April.

They are the best series out there BY FAR!!!!!!

Showtime is also doing some good stuff as of lately,you have to check it out!!!!!!

as far as the sopranos that has to be one of my all time favorites I heard that James Gandolfini not only had a problem with the contracts but he was also dipping into ALOT of cocaine:shrug: which resulted in a substance abuse problem . That is also a factor in the long awaited next season.....................
