Why is the highest total on tonight's card:
-The one with "numerous" players OUT as Denver comes to New York???
FOR DENVER
-----------
*Hardaway out with broken foot yesterday
*McDyess out with knee problems
FOR NEW YORK
-------------
*Houston (NY's leading scorer) questionable with a bad ankle sprain
*Harrington questionable with an ankle
-Throw in the that beautiful 75 point performance by Denver last Wednesday against Washington and I think ya have Vegas fool'n with ol' Mr. Polyester!
Since that pathetic Washington game....the Nuggets have scored 82 @ SAC and 88 in a win agianst SEA!!
NY has consistantly been in the high 90's to 100 over the last 8 games and I would bet Allen Houston plays tonight.
This sure seems like one of those "looks too good to be true" lines based on all the injuries.
I may be reading too much into all this....but the over 189' seems to be the way to approach this play. It just seems that the under is too darn easy at 189' to 190!
GL MadJackers
This is strictly a play based on "psychology"......as the fundamentals definitely point ya towards the under in this one!!
PLUS.....two teams outa the playoff picture and as someone said yesterday......with players more interested in "tee time" effort than defensive assignment effort??? We shall see shortly.
Play'n the over 189' in the Den/NY game
