That's unheard of.
However never to early for a poca acci?n.

We all know that the JETS started out a woeful 1-4 which almost ruined the season. Well they rebounded to win the AFC East with a 9-7 record.

Reasons for last seasons poor start ?
26 penalties, 97 mental errors, 65 missed tackles and -5 turnover rate in those 5 games.

Coach Edwards hopes to make sure the team jumps out quickly by tweaking his preseason philosophy. He is planning to give the regulars more playing time in the exhibition games.
He will institute a higher intensity preseason program to prevent the early season fumbling.
Chad opens the season ahead of Vinny (who will NOT play -back) & that alone should have a positive impact.RB Martin is NOT expected to play.
DT Chester McGlockton and LB Mark Brown didn't make the trip.

Johnson will start for the Buccs & play only a series or two. Backup King will relieve Johnson in the first quarter and likely will start the second half before giving way to rookie Simms.
All-Pro linebacker Derrick Brooks didn't make the trip to Japan.
McCardell is day to day because of a hamstring strain, but there is a strong possibility the Bucs will keep him out of the preseason opener in Japan.

No suds for Senor on the weekends. Matter of fact I rarely drink much at all. Been doing the Akins thingy & lost 22 pounds already. Just flew in from Burbank this afternoon. Took the young'uns to Universal Studios. Mike Wallace form 60 Minutes & his old lady were staying at the Hilton a few doors down from us.
They were fixin to fly to Chile. Anyway we had a blast at Universal. I'm ready for some football anytime you are.
I work 11 p to 7a. So I'm actually off every DAY.
