Girlfriend just surprised me by telling me we are going on a 7 night vacation in two weeks but we need to find a reasonable place to go. We have been to the all inclusives in Jamaica before, but one of the places recommended to her by someone at her firm was the Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino. Having not looked at Curacao before, I wondered how Jack liked it and if anyone else has been. Most importantly wondering how expensive the food is, as the resort itself is relatively cheap to stay at and fly to, but that wont matter much if its $200/day to eat.

We went to Curacao last July for 4 days and then finsihed up in Aruba for 6 days, while in Curacao we stayed at the Avilla Beach resort.
Great accomodations and food, stayed in their so called Blues Wing which had rooms in a wing that was built over the water...fantastic.
We ate on the property all but one night and ate at Fort Nassau restaurant that sits atop of hill and overlooks the island. Prices were somewhat high but not awful. Great view.
If you are like myself and enjoy hitting the casinos at night I was somewhat disappointed in them, small and somewhat dingy for the most part.
If you havent been to Aruba and have the option to go there I have been there twice and liked the quality and prices as well as variety of food much better. More casinos that resemble what we normally consider a casino.
Nothing wrong with Aruba and I loved the property where we stayed but I would go back to Aruba before returning to Curacao.
This is just my opinion, Curacao is fine I just preferred Aruba more. If I can answer any other specific questions you might have let me know.

Believe me Scott Ive been working on it, with an MBA and a solid resume its been slow going though, and hell the government is paying me $1500 a month not to work so its paying some bills for the time being. Meanwhile Ive gotten into law school and am going to start some classes this summer to supplement my time.
