going to perhaps take my son on an overnight train trip getting a berth on amtrak from raleigh to jax. we arrive at 630 am if there are no delays. what is the best way to get to st augustine to meet the rest of our party [they will arrive around 1 pm]. are they any shuttles from train station or should we just rent a car? thanks

Lowell I could not find any shuttle service from amtrak. They do have buses(jacksonville transportation authority) that run from the train station to most parts of Jacksonville but not St. Augustine. I guess you could ride the bus to a car rental or take a taxi. It is about 35 miles to St. Augustine. Let me know if I can be of more help.
