finally got around to capping the Derby, and here's what I'm going with. Without getting into a long story as I'm strapped for time, but one of the ways I cap the Derby is by seeing who is going to be where at first call. The breakdown is the following:

1st group: 2-5-6-17
2nd group: 7-9-12-13-16
3rd Group: 1-3-4-8-10-11-14-15

Now from that group who will be able to stay, and who is going to be coming. Of course after this is done, there's many other things to look at, and one of those things is I love the fact that since Jeff Mullin has taken over the training of #8 Buddy Gill, he has won 3 in a row, and all with Gary Stevens aboard. This is an angle that I use quite often, a previously trained horse winning for the new trainer. He knows how to win with him, bottom line. Don't like the fact of a possible bounce from those last 3 races which were all wins and triple Beyer numbers, but Mullins and connections must have had the Derby in mind when he took over. I'm looking for this gelding to come flying down the stretch, for the Win. I want to here "and downt the stretch Buddy Gill" I also see #9 Indian Express #12 Empire Maker, but who doesn't. The value for me is #8 Buddy Gill. Other horses that could be SHOCKERS #3 Sir Cherokee, #7 Offlee Wild. Anyways have to go and play the ticket of:

Triactor Key:
8 with 3-4-6-7-9-12-16 with 3-4-6-7-9-12-16-17
3-4-6-7-9-12-16 with 8 with 3-4-6-7-9-12-16-17
3-4-6-7-9-12-16 with 3-4-6-7-9-12-16-17 with 8

Cost based on a $1 Tri Ticket is $42 times what you're betting. For those who aren't familiar a $2 Tri Ticket for each bet would then cost $84 and so on.

Also betting #8 Buddy Gill 1 unit Win/4 Units Pace

GL and they're off.
