Jaspers coming off their big d-OT win over LaSalle 99-90...Jaspers get huge game from Beamon who missed all of last yr..Lions lose Barbour who was all everything for them..Alvarado is a solid gd and keeps this team in order..Beamon at 6'4 plays everywhere...Brown is the top def pl in the MAAC and a big time shot blocker...Andujar can score..and Richards is only a soph and played great vs La S the other nite...Pankey did ok in his 1st game as a Jasper but at 6'10 he will dominate soon...Lions are an avg Ivy team..they have won the past 2 vs MC but tonite there are meeting one of the top Mid-major teams....Jaspers should win this buy double digits...the campus's are very close...by car its 15 minutes down the Henry Hudson..by bus 25...and with traffic 2 hours....

Texas lost almost everyone from last yrs team...Kabango,Lewis,McCleenan and even Papa...they got some new Texas blood with a few gds that hopefully can shoot because this will be a long season if they don't..Jags have Rubit the best player in the Sun...Ammons can score too...both teams playing 3 gd lineups..like the Jags up frony with 6'7 Rubit...Jags lyr were very inconsistent turning the ball over many times..think they keep this close tonite...
