He always puts in sh+tty relievers in game situations and puts in Dotel and Wagner when the game is decided......this guy is an abosolute idiot.....C Hernandez normally pitches batting practice today and that is exactly what he did.....

Not sure I want to take Houston anymore as long as he is sitting in the dugout. There is something wrong with this guy. This goes back to '97 when he didn't pitch Pedro against the Indians in game five of the playoffs, because he figured that if he did Pedron wouldn't be ready for game seven of the World Series.

pretty much everyone around here thought that Redding would be a great 3rd guy to have in the pen behind Dotel and Wagner because he has such great stuff....just has been a little inconsistent.....a bullpen role would be a great way for him to gain confidence at the big league level though.....this guy has as good a stuff as oswalt -- his control just isn't quite where it was.....

but, boy were we wrong!! The Jimmy puts Stone on the team instead!!!! Then he puts Stone in about every game that is close!
The Jimmy says that Redding would be better served at the minor league level!!! Does The Jimmy not know that Redding has been in the minors several years prior to when he came to town? Just because the Jimmy is new in town doesn't mean that we haven't had baseball before him!!! Maybe try a new approach The Jimmy?? Lets see him gain some more confidence in himself at the big league level and then maybe he will take off!!!

At least give him a chance!! What could be worse than having Mlicki throw his Phil Neikro fastball up there? And stone serving up his junk?

Unbelievable how idiotic this guy is!!! He thinks he is smarter than anyone who has ever come before him and that he thinks of new ways to do things. He needs to realize that the game has been around for over 100 years and that some pretty decent managers are the reason that "conventional wisdom" works more often than it does not.

Moron is too soft a word to describe Williams.
He is totally inept as a manager and his suspect calls have cost the Astros too many games.
Astros will lose key personnel like Bagwell and Biggio sooner or later,as long as Williams calls the shots.
Disappointing performance by Reynolds who was until tonite, 6-0 when starting against Colorado.
