Jints are in for a real tough game today. There defense is bad like I've been saying since pre-season.There Db's are hurting and they have no depth.Wilson is playing but has a sore ankle. They rank last in the NFL in pass defense and last in total defense giving up 417 yds per game. There offense was No 3 until Parcells and his Pokes stopped that last week.
The difficulty I see here is the Denver blocking schemes. They do an outstanding job with there precision blocking. That's why they have so many running backs that gain 1,000 yds every year.I think with all the play action the broncos set up there passing game with there run attack.I know everyone does that but they do it better then anyone.
Plummer since his 1st two games has been on the money.Giants will fall for the "bootleg" at least 3 times today.Plummer has Rod Smith who the Jints must contain. They have a good TE,and with Bell and Anderson coming out of the backfield we're in trouble.
Denver defense is solid but not great. They do rank at the bottom in pass defense.
But Jints are upset including Tiki who is not getting enough carries.Manning is still a puppy and his reads are terrible. In the Dallas game he had Barber wide open on 2 plays and he never saw him.Pressure him and he zeroes in on his 1st read. That is what "puppies" do.And that is what Parcells did.Blitzing, showing different defenses, etc.
Also Dallas doubled team Manning's favorite WR Buress.Buress has been great but he is questionable today with a bad back.Jints offense will be able to score vs Denver.Coughlin has taken so much heat over the Tiki snub that I think he gets 15-20 carries and gets about 5 or 6 passes out of the backfield.
I think there will be a lot of scoring in this game but Denver wins this outright. If Wilson cannot play there secondary is already in big trouble. You now have your best hitter and coverage man out.I see Plummer hitting Smith who is a home run threat on every play and Bell and Anderson slicing thru those Bronco's holes. And if Buress doesn't play you lose Manning's No 1 option.
Denver and the over***
Like Atlanta big over the Jets **** best play
Seattle over Dallas*
Bengals-Steelers under*
