Looks like your school might be coming back to where they belong. I hope they do get the invite to the Big12 and accept it. IMO it's the best add to the conference and for your school would be a gigantic boost in revenue. I could care less about the Big12 "footprint" and tv crap. I want good teams that have good rivalries.

The biggest knock against TCU by the BigXII is TCU doesn't add anything. My opinion has always been good football games will attract viewers regardless of alumni size.

UT is the biggest hurdle for TCU joining. I just don't know if the TCU Administration wants any part of their drama. It would be great to be able to drive to away games every year. It's all wait and see at this point.

Joe, I hope you guys join. It would be great to drive over to FW every couple of years for a big game.

IMO things really will be better with the new 6yr agreement they signed yesterday. Nobody will want to leave because they'll lose all of their tv money. They also have equal revenue sharing on teir 1 and 2 tv rights now so the money will be the same. As for tier 3 and UT making so much, who cares. The Tech President said it best when he said that they've earned it and deserve so why should anyone be upset.

You guys have a pretty good recruiting class right now. If you join the Big12 I'm willing to bet it jumps up with new commits.

They can't even agree on what was agreed on. It's crazy. No one wants to say anything that will come back and bite them.

I hope you're right. It will be great to renew these old rivalries. I honestly believe TCU vs Baylor could be a huge game every year. Not OU-TX big, but bigger than what we have right now with SMU.

Speaking of Baylor- If anyone in the conference wouldn't want you back I would figure it would be them. IMO you would get the kids that go there because you're so similar but you're in DFW so a lot of those kids wouldn't have to leave the area.

Patterson has to be licking his chops.

If they add TCU, hopefully we can get BYU to renew it's interest in then go after one more to get back to the Big 12 and more importantly have a championship game. That's been lost in all of this but IMO that's really a big deal.

I keep hearing TX is dead set against having a championship game again. Who knows?
