He sure has a flare for the dramatic

Awesome Spin Move and Great Finish with the High Out Call - Good Vocals

That's the Good Part

On his eval he would get dinged for:
Turn your damn hat around
Wear a Ball Bag
Put the indicator in your left hand
and
Get in to the damn slot

Here's our blooper reel

 Would actually have loved to have the guy I posted in a few situations this year. One of our umps let the pitcher fake to third and throw to 1st and pick our man, problem was no one was on third:facepalm: Another tossed me for telling him I had just complemented him to the other coach:facepalm:  In all seriousness I would like to get your email from jack and bounce some ideas off of you in the near future if you do not mind. After 12 years of coaching I blew a fuse and told them they could have it a few months ago(admin problems not kids). Would like to stay involved in the game and I think I would do well umpiring so I might need you for a sounding board in the future if you do not mind. Thanks man!

Done - I shot Jack an email to forward on to you.

Holy Shit that's funny on the yo-yo move without a runner on 3rd. As a coach, I would have gotten dumped in that situation too. - That whole unoccupied base thing can be confusing at times, but not in that instance - lol

A few short stories from last week. One of my umpires popped his ejection cherry when he asked a head coach to help control his fans between innings.

The coach walks over to the stands and starts, "I know they're terrible..."

He didn't even get the rest out - The ump got him right there - "You're Done"

The coach then pleaded, "I wasn't talking about you guys"

Yesterday - A Really Good One

Defensive coach is in the 1st base dugout - Play at the plate, ball arrives 3 steps before the runner does, kid slides in (clean) Catcher goes gets the tag on him in time but the ball trickles out. The coach is blocked by the call and when the umpire calls him safe - He runs directly to home plate. The play is still going on and the runner is trying to go from 2nd to 3rd. The ball gets launched in to left field and that runner comes home to score. While all of this is happening the coach is hollering, "This is Absolute Fucking Bullshit" The play is over and my umpire says "Hey Caleb <Or whatever the catchers name was> Tell your coach that you dropped the ball. The coach couldn't help himself, "He didn't drop the Fucking Ball" - Caleb chimed in, "Yes I did coach"

"Oh" - He turns to leave and the umpire says "Wait - we need to talk"

"Sorry I lost my cool, I didn't know he dropped the ball"

The umpire, cool as ice, "No problem Coach, we all get excited, but I still have to run ya."

"What??? What For?"

"You ran out here during the play and dropped 12 F-Bombs on me. You are definitely gone, I just want to know if you want it to be a big dump or a little one"

"Fuck, Make it Big"

And with that Hector turned and tossed his ass like he was throwing a skipping rock high in to the sky, while letting out a, "You're Outta Here"

Then the applause started. It was pretty damn good.

Oh Shit

http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blog...e-two-men-161132553--abc-news-topstories.html

Video at the link above

A fun day at a Little League baseball diamond in Georgia turned into anything but this weekend after a dispute about music resulted in a Major League brawl between two men who are now headed to court.

The fight started when Iram King, 36, asked Charles Davidson, 38, to lower the music he was playing after a Friday night game between the Northern Little League and Harris County All-Stars had just ended at an all-star tournament outside Columbus, Ga., according to the Ledger-Enquirer newspaper.

Davidson, the father of a child on the winning Northern Little League team, reportedly regularly plays music between innings of the team?s games and was playing ?All I Do Is Win,? the Auburn University rally song, at the players? request.
He turned the music down at King's request but the two men then began to talk about some of the players in the game, Columbus police said.

"I'm here to f*** you up," one witness told the paper that King, the brother of the Harris County All-Stars' coach, said to Davidson.

"Well, here I am," Davidson allegedly replied.

The verbal fight quickly escalated into a physical melee in which punches were thrown.

Tommy Smith, a retired umpire, witnessed the brawl and immediately called 911.

"Set an example guys. Let's come on. There's kids out here watching this stuff," he told the men.
A bystander captured much of the fight on video, which has now gone viral, much to the embarrassment of the Little League itself.

"It's about the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in Little League in all the years I've been doing it," Little League District 8 Administrator Bernard Ashley told the Ledger-Enquirer.

The fight began, ironically, as the tournament's host was about to hand out trophies celebrating the success of the tournament's young players.
The two men were each charged with one count of disorderly conduct. They have been ordered to appear in court Aug. 16 for a hearing.

No serious injuries were reported.
The league's administrator hopes the two men keep themselves confined to the courtroom and not the baseball field.

"They ought to be barred from all the Little League youth sports," Ashley said.
