So yes I'm capping baseaball...

But unlike hockey, taking a break will not be the exception. I expect to do it about 1 or 2 days a week when time permits. Capping baseball is a lot of work and consumes a lot of time.

Always following IE and Nolan plays for 1 full unit a play - however I won't post my record following those 2. All 'my' baseball plays will be for half a unit in real time since I don't feel too much confident about it.. But I'll post my record as 1 unit a play (unless I mention something different). If things are going too bad I'll quit as fast as I started.

You have so much stuff to consider in this game that I won't have time to write comments with my plays. Too many numbers.

Ok so let's start:

MLB record 0-0-0 +-0.00
Sides: 0-0-0 +-0.00
Totals 0-0-0 +-0.00

Sides
-----------------------
Seattle (Abbott) -132
Kansas (Byrd) +185
Los Angeles (Adams) EVEN

Totals
-----------------------
KC/Cle O10.5 -120
LA/SF O8.5 -105
Ana/Oak U8.5 EVEN

TORONTO-VIGILANTE

July 2nd Recap:

Sides: 2-1 +0.5 unit
Totals: 3-1 +1.8 unit

*Reminder: all plays are considered as 1 unit plays unless something different is mentionned.

That KC loss really hurt as I really exepected more runs from them based on their recent performances (well more runs from both teams actually). I really thought I could have brought back at least one of the 2 bets (side or total) but that's not what happened at all. A 9th inning 1 run loss is tough to swallow considering the high payoff and the high expectations (1.5 unit).

That 6-4 Houston win is the kind of score I expected - however I had to wait until the bottom of the 9th to bring the OVER home.

Seattle winning 9-7 in 10 is a lucky win - no doubt about it. I somewhat knew that there was a trap on the attractive line (-132). Abbott was awful early in the game and like "Cash" mentionned, the M's are only 13-10 against lefties. That's what I missed here. Anyhow thanks to the poor Texas bullpen and the good Seattle batters. A win is a win and I'll take it.

The LA/SF result is once again the kind of final score I was waiting for. Nailed the side and the total on this one. 16 hits by LA (in 8 innings) was a lot more than I needed. Estes still struggling on the road...

With 2 starters at their top (Hudson and Washburn), it was almost obvious that the Oak/Ana game would be a low scoring one. Add to this the very poor offensive contribution from Anaheim's batters in their last few games, plus a rested bullpen for the A's, it was kinda hard to pass up at 8.5. I almost went for 1.5 unit on this one but once again I was scared of a trap. It took 12 innings to see a a team score. Very easy one.

Allready taking a break; might be back on Friday

Have a nice week baseball cappers
