got a much needed win last sunday with a+12 units from carl edward.. ytd still -8' units for nascar.
hoping to get even for the last 10 races ...

taking tony s +120 to hit top five for 5' units ,, he just been on fire..
at richmond 13 starts, he has 3 wins and 5 top five ...

ALSO , putting 1 unit on rusty wallace +600 to hit top five..
he has 43 starts and almost half of them (21) IN THE TOP FIVE.... 29 top ten ..
+600 seems like good value to me .. at vip

i like toast .. he getting some respect at only +1200 this early, take away half of his 6 dnf this year and he would be knocking on the chase door ! g/l

he dominated the last race there, when he won. By far the best car out there. Tony stewart was the only guy who could come close to competing with him

I could live with a kasey/tony 1-2 finish ....whats your opinion how the race for the chase and the impound rules have on us betting nascar ... seems to take a edge away from us... closer we get to the final 10 races the harder it is to see who will go for the win or just the top ten..
maybe its just me ?

it does seem to be a little harder. But I have been screwed with fuel milage/pit strategies and such ,the last 5 to 8 races it seems. I think my capping has been right on, exept for a couple races in the last couple months. Just don't have the bank to show for it. Looks like I'll end up about +20 units or so for the year. Not bad, but no where near where it could have been.

The chase always throws an extra wrinkle into capping these things. I usually slow down on NASCAR when football starts, mainly the NFL. And do as I seem to always do, throw my nascar earnings away playing the NFL.

not a bad way to go toast .. make a nice bank from nascar , then use it for football .. hope you double that 20+ units ...

I usually always play nascar... i'll throw a couple buck early on some football , then back off .. but i play in a couple weekly/year football pools to get my fix till nascar rolls around ..

rusty down to +180 for top five ... kinda kicking myself for not using him with the five units at +600.. g/l ....

aw nuts , tony and rusty both had top five cars ... rusty hit top five for +600 .... tony was top five with 25 to go got up high and fell back 15 th .. still manage 7th .. minus 1/2 for the day... was begging (lol) for both of them to land top five.. in hindsight wish i had the five on rusty ....
ought to be a good final 10 races .... go 48...
