In game two of the series the Boston Red Sox and the rival New York Yankees square off in Fenway Park. The Yankees lost last night in a dominating performance by Josh Beckett and have now lost all six games against their rival. The Red Sox send Wakefield to the mound tonight and the Yankees will counter with Chien-Ming Wang.

I cannot put my money on Wang with the way he has pitched this year. He took some time off with an injury but I am not sold on his return. He has given up at least 5 runs or more in his last five starts.

Wakefield has been hit or miss against the Yankees in certain games too, but the difference is the bullpen and the streak which has started to get into the head of the Yankees. The Sox bullpen has been amazing and sports an ERA of 0.89 in the last three outings. Look for some runs to be scored here but the Red Sox pull it out with Ortiz and JD Drew leading the way!

Red Sox -113

Other games:

Baltimore -102

The O?s are a much better team at home then they are on the road and have revenge against the M?s for the recent series they played. King Felix looks attractive at this price but I am going against it. The O?s hit right-handers better than the M?s line up and I like to fade a west coast team on the east coast in the first series. Mariners are 1-6 in Hernandez?s last 7 road starts vs. a team with a losing record and the home team is 6-0 in Wolfs last 6 games behind home plate vs. Baltimore.

Mets +141

This is a big series for the Mets and they responded in game one.Mets are hitting ten points higher against lefties and so they can do well against the ace of the Phillies staff. Mets are 10-2 in Pelfreys last 12 starts as an underdog and the Phillies are 1-4 in Hamels? last 5 starts vs. Mets

Florida -106

Florida is winning ball games of late and the win against Carpenter will give them confidence. The Cardinals are in a five game losing streak and just ready to go home. Cardinals are 0-4 in Wainwrights last 4 road starts vs. a team with a losing record and the home team is 11-4 in Holbrooks last 15 games behind home plate vs. Florida
