hi guys.... system coming bk to form... my $$ mgmt sucked the last 2 wks, trying to only pick out 1 or 2 "best bets" and match em up w/others, etc. Phillies suck eggs...

anyway.... yday had lots of winners, hope y'all got em

Winners were...
Mets Ov
Mil/Det Un
Yanks/Fla Ov
Cleve Un
Dodg/Angels Un
Nats Ov
Cub r/l
SD r/l

Losers were...
StL Un
Angels runline

8-2 for the day.... and I lost my $$ playing on Phillies, Yanks... pathetic!:thefinger

so.... bk to square 1.... sad, saaaad month mannnn....
I did the stats up to this point of season.... will put results in another post either today or tomorrow... but this last month had many losses, and did some things that hadn't happd in 3 prev seasons....
Example.... Baaaad Month!!
Tex hadn't gone longer than 4th gm to hit an over starting a long homestand... but went 10 gms without an over... lost a small fortune :moon:
Wsox hadn't gone past gm 4 to hit an over in 3 yrs... til a few wks ago
Det... hadn't gone past gm 5... til this yr... etc
and then tms like philly losing 6 in row to tor then balty (a terrible rd team)... blowing leads in 9th etc.... whatever muddafuggas!! u stink! so i'm putting the past behind me!! moving forward!

Here's todays plays....

XL Home
Mets Under #1 (re-start)

Reg Road
StL Un #3 (v mets)

Runlines
Angels.... #4
A's and Atl... both gm 1

Lots more start tomorrow!

BoL to Usalll!!!

just got in from work...

saw the instant replay of the met runner being tagged out at home about 5 different angles.... ump still called him safe... wut da fukkkk.... terrible call for 2 reasons.
#1.. it was wrong.... (and more importantly it cost me $$)

#2... ump got himself out of position

let me say that I have umpired over 1000 gms... and officiated over 1000 basketball and volleyball games and matches, trained officials, and hired and scheduled... so I do have some background in the subject area.

1st mistake... Out of position to make the call... he moved towards 1st base and put the catcher's body between him and the ball... screened him out.... bad.
why did he move? fear of being run over probably...

2nd mistake... a quick call to cover up the fact he knew he couldn't see the play... didn't give his mind a chance to replay the event and re-evaluate the play in his head... if you've ever umped and been in a position like that you take in everything in a split second... the catcher's reaction, the runner's reaction, your own evaluation, then call it....
it all happens in a second... but he just signaled right away... and was wrong.
I guarantee ya the mets would not hav argued he was safe.... they knew he was out.

so... he should have either:
a) moved to the 3rd base dugout side
or...
b) been out closer towards the pitchers mound...

But NOT move to be blocked visually by the catcher...

In case ya can't tell... it cost me...

it turned out to be the run that put the game over the total... by half run, it shoulda stayed under tonite folks...

bad play by the ump

is the game fixed....nope, don't think so...

do umps screw up, and then act too pompous like they could never make a mistake.... yep, wayyy too often.

goodnite now...

LoB out.
