Just when you think you can relax, get up late, print your boarding pass, etc you look up and you have NIT,CIT,CBI's,Womans{on line} and NCI's games...
So after some celebrations last nite back to some capping...
Penn St -4 over Siena ****
Siena has won 5 of 6 or 6-8 and played much better the second half of the season. Pastos their coach took some time having his saints believe in his system..Poole and co are playng better defense and now scoring.... even though the game is at home the saints will see the 2 best gd tandem they have seen all year in..Newbill and Frazier..both outstanding..they can shoot and penetrate..Travis{ think thats his name} inside is tough...even though the Lions started out good, sank a little, got back again and sunk again...they did beat Ohio St 2 times and split or beat them twice... Purdue who beat Siena ..Lions are the better team with more talent, experience, better front court and way better gds...not sure where there heads are at and that is the key tonite..I know where the Saints heads are at.. "sky high" and playing solid...but Newbill and Frazier are just do good for the saints to get enough stops on defense...
FSU -3-4 over Georgetown { have to check in the line} **
Hoyas on the road are terrible...don't have anything in front of me but think they are 1-7,2-8 or 3-9 away...not a good ats away either..they cannot shoot the 3 and have a poor FG%..FSU has some good gds that can score..don't know there names but do have Otaro who can score and rebound...if this line is -3 or -4 I like FSU...if its higher will pass ...George did get upset by DePaul in 1st rd...
Typing here at Southpoint casino..don't have my notes or cards in front of me so I could be wrong on some stats...did see Penn St play a few times and Siena once or twice..
Boggs.. like Thad said..the Wichita line was -2 the night before and I played it..it went to -3 -4 and -5 at Green valley or the "M" the next day...lines jumped and one cost me big.. I liked Manhattan +17.5 over louie..was +16.5 at some places.. I get to southpoint and its -14.5 louie..so like a fool I flip my play and take louie...then watching the game on a big screen in front of me I see my Jaspers kicking ass and leading at some point with 2 minutes to go...Louie hits two 3's in a row and just wins...that drop in the line made me switch...as I'm ripping my ticket up I look at it...It had Louisville -16..I never looked at the ticket that was printed....I was looking at the sheets they give to everyone that are updated every so often...didn't look up at the board when i made my bet..... if I saw that I would of stayed with my original play...damn....also I pounded Michigan Texas big..the nite before at the "M' the -5 line was solid all day..dropped to -4.5...but it was late and I said tomr am will come back and make the play..it went up to -5 everywhere and stayed there.. but I loved them over Texas anyway and won...didn't need the half pt..but wish I had it with Mich St...that hurt..
