Sebastien Caron, Pittsburgh Penguins - Since some of you like to know information like this as far as in advance as possible, Caron will get the start for tomorrow's game against the Canadiens, reports the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Coach Ed Olczyk stated that the reason he's starting Caron over rookie Marc-Andre Fleury is because Caron got the team a point in his last start. He did go on to say that Fleury will get the start on Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings.
Nikolai Khabibulin, Tampa Bay Lightning - As usual, we will mention this the morning of the game, but Khabibulin is expected to be the starter for Thursday's game against the Coyotes, according to the St. Petersburg Times.
Sean Burke, Phoenix Coyotes - Another early one: Burke is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against the Panthers, reports the Arizona Republic. He would then leave the team early to fly back to Phoenix in anticipation of starting again on Saturday versus the Flyers. That would mean that Brian Boucher and Zac Bierk would dress for Thursday's game against the Lightning though it's anyone's guess right now which of the two will start. If we had to make an educated guess, it would probably be Boucher as he has backed up Burke in each of the first two games so far this season.
