This might save some of you some money.
I have seen people going against Sac this year because Webber is not playing. Don't let that factor into your cappin'. If you do, you are going to be on the wrong side a lot of nights. Also, don't take Sac the first couple of nights after he comes back.
When Webber was in Wash he was one of the worst under achievers I have ever seen. Going to Sac he became what he has always had the talent to be and I became a big fan. For some reason, about half way through last season he reverted back to his old ways. One night he would come to play and the next night he wouldn't. In the play-offs he was pathetic and it looked to be purely a lack of effort. I said then that I thought for some reason he wanted out of Sac. I don't know if they straighten out whatever was bothering him last year but if they haven't, his coming back will not help the team. A super star has to show up and give 100% every night. If not they can really hurt their team because they are expected to, and will take their 20+ shots a night. No matter what you think about Iverson, you get 100% every night. If there is someone on Jordan's team that isn't willing to give 100% every night, he'll be gone (Howard)
In case you haven't noticed, Sac without Webber is one of 4 teams that are undefeated this year. The other three are LAL, Mil and Minn. LAL with all their super stars are winning by an average of 10 points a game which is quite a bit more than Mil and Minn. Sac's ave winning margin is 12'.
My point is this. Don't over value Webber. Sac might be the most talented team in the NBA from top to bottom and they all are willing to give 100% every day. With out Webber, they will be a good value because the public thinks Webber is Sac. There is nothing farther from the truth.
