Just back from voting...New system now in NY

Well you sign in and they give you your ballot then you go to a small desk and mark your ballot with a special pen that wasn't there.

After you have your little circles all colored in you take your ballot and feed it into a machine that counts it!

Well my ballot # was 150 and when I put it in the machine it said 138 counted. My wife and I were the only ones there. I guess some people took theirs home.:shrug:

In Georgia now we have touch screen.

It had 20 things to vote on. You show your drivers lic, they mark your address down, you get a yellow card.

You take the yellow card and slide it into the machine and it explains what to do and you start marking the candidates you want.

Here is something that really gets to me.

There were at least 5 superior court type judges that were running unopposed. Them and a write in candidate option.

I almost want to sign up for the judges spots next time and with the dumb asses in Georgia I would probably get elected.

It probably costs 20 grand to get on the ballot.
