2* - Washington Huskies (-3.5)
Oregon HC Ernie Kent can?t seem to settle on a starting lineup for the Ducks with practically the entire team getting the nod at one time or another this season. This team is acting like their win over Arizona State actually meant something but I guess anytime you end a six game losing streak you have to be excited about it. The Ducks won that game despite allowing the cellar dwelling Sun Devils to score 58 second half points. Prior to Saturday, Oregon was on a 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS skid.
In Saturday?s win over UCLA, Washington?s Brandon Roy finished with 20 points making that the 5th straight game he's scored 20 or more. Only four teams have beaten the Bruins this season and the Huskies have done it twice now for the first time since the 1987 season. Admittedly, Washington has not looked good as visitors lately with four consecutive road losses but three of those games were against USC, California and Stanford with Washington State being the only real surprise.
The Huskies are averaging 83.4 points this season while the Ducks average only 69.2 points per game. Defense is not exactly a strong suit for Oregon and without Taylor in the lineup, I just don?t see the worst free throw shooting team in the Pac 10 hanging with the Huskies in this one.
