I'm not referring to Nancy Reagan's futile attempt (most of these young MJers probably don't remember this)on her anti-drug policy. :SIB I'm talking about my "rock solid" :142smilie policy of never betting on bad teams.

How many times have you cursed yourself after making a wager you know you had no business making:nono:

The Jets/Texans game reminds me of my early years and my initiation to the wagering world. Fiest, Cokin, and Root would entice you into 'getting' their picks. Wayne Allen Root would alway have his "Don't Make Sense Plays"

Not that I'd ever follow this 'guru' but this game certainly follows the script of "don't make sense' On paper there's no way these two teams resemble anything close to parity on the field. David vs Goliath, USA vs Canada in anything :mj07:

New York is completely devoid of any talent that is the nucleus of a team. No qb, rb or wr and a line that has to hold off this #1 ranked defensive team... on the offensive side. No Reevis on 'd' to stop Andre after the potent rushing attack has softened up the once highly touted defense.

Seems like everything points to a Houston laughter. And that's what bother me most:scared It never turns out that way:nooo: (for me)This is exactly the kind of game the Jets will cover and perhaps even win. And yet there's no way I can bet on the Jets. I'm taking Nancy's advice on this one (that is, the no part) :weed:
