Sounds like he is an alcoholic. I feel truly bad for the guy. He obviously has a problem, and he has a long way to go to hit rock bottom. Funny how many people assume it is herb right away. Nope, it is the legal and socially accepted drug that ruins the most lives of any drug that is this poor guy's downfall.

How stupid can you be. From all accounts he is a good guy just has a serious problem. Not sure what the Jags will do but they should release him. He was the best player on this shitty team. Really sucks on several levels for me. Damn

can't find an atual account of the substance ..

sure look likes he has a very serious drinking problem..

my guess is the league had him set up for random checks and he got caught with alcohol in his system

when we are put on this type of test they stop by and give ya the test right then and there because alcohol only stays in your system a very short amount of time..

drunks in my rehab stint would quit for 24 hours prior to our mandatory testing ...BECAUSE WE KNEW WE WOULDBE TESTED

we alcoholics have but one choice..

quit or suffer the consequences..

lets hope Justin can finally over-come the demons..

and believe me they are real demons.

when you are willing to throw away 3 million dollars your addition has complete and utter control.

I won't pretend to know all of the ins and outs of the NFL substance abuse policy. But, for those of you saying its alcohol here, can the NFL really suspend a player for using alcohol? I mean, it's legal to drink whether you have a problem or not. If he was arrested I could understand but can't believe it's from a positive alcohol test.

The thing is that Blackmon had previous alcohol arrests. Once you have one, then you are in "The Program." That shit is no joke. It makes probation look like a cakewalk. Read this:
