It's that time of year for K St to kick Kansas butt. They should win by 40. A 50 to 10 would not surprise me. Snyder loves to cover vs Kansas. Recruting is one reason. The other he just loves to crank it up when he can. The yardage avg for K St is so huge over Kansas it's the only way to play it. Now keep it mind this play is coming to you from a person that is only 50% for the year. But i feal like im getten hot now. Oh I see why im sitting next to the fire place. Play Kansas. No way.

Agreed. K-State should bury Kansas. As a former K-State student, I have witnessed first hand the beatings that Snyder and the cats have put on the hawks. I fail to see how this year would be any different. The only wins Kansas has been able to muster are to a D1A team and lowely Tulsa. Also, their startting QB Bill Whittamore (their only spark) is questionable for this game. If he can't go, I believe that they will give the nod to a redshirt freshman. K-State, on the other hand, is coming off a road win veruses Baylor, who picked up their 1st Big XII win earlier this season to guess who...Kansas. K-State downed Baylor 44-10 despite struggling early. I think crushing the Jayhawks (which has become an annual tradition) will be more than enough motivation to come out of the gates to hit them fast and hard. Other notables...K-State is 8-2 ATS vs. Kansas since 1992...In the last 3 years, Kansas is 3-11 ATS in home games...Kansas is 3-10 ATS when playing a team with a winning record...K-State is 11th in the nation in rushing, averaging 247 YPG...Kansas' defense is ranked 111th in points allowed, giving up 38.1 PPG...K-State's defense is rated 4th in points allowed, giving up 13.4 PPG

Caution -- This game was OTB and didn't appear until sometime this morning (Kan QB Whittemore - questionable). Line is currently -31. I realize Baylor -5' beat Kansas, 35-32, but this Kansas team has been showing a gradually increasing ATS improvement in their last three games, -4, -2 and -1'.

As a K-state grad I like KSU if KU's starting QB doesn't start. Any info on that issue would help. Also Remember: Mangino was Bill's ex offensive coordinator. This may be meaningless but a thought. KSU should roll! :bigun:

Kansas QB ???

Kansas QB ???

I believe coach Mangino has taken the Bill Snyder mystery man approach and doesn't report injuries, so QB Whittemore status may be unknown until game time. KC paper on Sunday reported that Whittemore's father said it was a MCL sprain or something to that extent and it didn't look good for him. Personally I don't look for him to play on Saturday and K-State will probably roll it up big again on the Jayhawks. Only question in my mind is if coach Snyder will have any mercy on his ex-coordinator. Not real sure about the relationship between those 2 these days. Will have to lean towards K-State minus the big number here.

Thanks for the info Geno. I'll probably lay off the game not knowing how Snyder will treat Mangino. I would expect Bill to drill them normally but with this situation I am uncertain.
