Auburn plays great FG defense:facepalm:........Unfortunately as an Alabama fan my team missed 3 or 4 field goals last year vs Auburn

I don't know that KState kicker cost them anything...

The one chip shot, sure. Nothing that the UGA kicker can't relate to last week, so hopefully the same people are claiming he cost them that game.

But when did 40+ yard FGs in college become automatic? Especially with some gail force wind that the announcers mentioned every 10 minutes. Blame the game on KSU's run game, Lockett being a non-factor (other than dropping a TD that hit him in the chest), etc.

Don't put this one solely on the kicker. That's just unfair

Really? He missed 3 field goals for heavens sake. Ask Kstate fans who cost them the game?
The wind was blowing 20mph which is just a breezy day in western KS. He is used to kicking in those type of conditions. Yea the dropped pass in the end zone hurt as well. 16 points left on the field. They needed a mistake free game against a quality opponent like Auburn. Didnt get it.

It's not like he barely missed. They were wide misses. But I hit the under, so it's all good. :0074

QB Jake Waters sure did his part. I posted in my thread that he would cause problems for the Auburn defense, well he caused problems alright problems for K St! He didn't run worth a crap and had like 4 turnovers, 2 picks, couple fumbles, one may have been recovered. He fucked up royally at the end of the half, they were inside the Auburn 15 and he held onto the ball, pumped tried to tuck it and fumbled, losing about 10 yards and of course then the guy misses a 40+ yard FG. He had plenty of time to just throw it away, you don't take that sack. I was just glad to get the pt spread cover after that.

I would put the majority of the blame on your running game getting like 40 yards and your best player, Lockett, being a ghost. If not for KSU wouldn't have to settle for 40+ yard FGs, which in college are not some kind of automatic points... Missing the chip shot was pretty embarrassing though.

Also the fade route on 3rd and goal... what?

If we get 3/4 of UGA, Bama, A&M and MSU I'll be pretty impressed.

MSU looks big for once... THey aren't gonna be that easy for anyone that relies on running on offense. LSU looks pretty bad and we get them at home. USC isn't gonna beat us in AU either. And I'm not really sold on OMiss because Wallace is not a big game QB.

At this point I think UGA wins the East and if AU wins the west would have to play them twice in 3 weeks. That's pretty brutal. Then follow that up with a Playoff Semi-Final and Championship game.

We have one hell of a road to get to Arlington. :box2::drinky::Yep::mj08::spotting::mj16:dance1
