Kansas/Texas game

Why is everyone onKansas, Texas still has a chance to win the Big 12? I know they played 2 ot game Wed night but these guys are college kids with lots of energy. just curious :shrug:

I am betting Texas +8.5 and ml:SIB

kansas will dominate them. look at when the horns went to a&m and lost by 18. theres no way texas will win SU, kansas is too good and playing great, i think they will cover and will be on kansas

Everyone and their brother, sister and in-laws are on Texas. Texas is in a terrible spot - off of a double overtime home win against their in-state rival now they have to go on the road to face one of the hottest teams in the country. Texas hasn't faired all that well on the road this year. They got drubbed by Texas A&M in College Station and it wasn't even close. The old question applies "why is this line so high"...well there is a reason. I think Kansas gets the cover and might get it rather easily.

KU should win by DD's imo. Rick Barnes might as well be the waterboy for UT. The guy has 2 TO's in his pocket v. a&m and his boys panic when they get trapped- throw it up for grabs - then he subs in a 54% FT shooter w 1:20 left up 4??? Unbelievable. Durant is sick, but this probably won't be close 94-80 KU I called the # exactly and every amateur in the bar ..."Dude, 8.5?. I think I would take Texas." Good sign for KU

Fade your right on the money on Barnes. He was a joke the other night against the Aggies. Ironically, Texas has been winning in spite of him.

hedgehog I am with you today. I think 9 points it too much to give to the horns. KU plays much better defense but Augustine and Durant are awesome. Durant didn't play his best game against ATM the other night and this one is bigger to the horns than the ATM game was IMO.

I'm on Kansas and the Over for a lot of those same reasons, Fade.

Texas plays little D and coming off that 2OT game, even though it was 3 nights ago.

KU was on an 8-0 run when Durant went down, he missed two in a row and augustine stepped up when Durant went down and hit back to back shots.

Durant doesnt go down Kansas could have covered
