You almost have to start asking if Self is blowing these officials before games. This is 2 weeks in a row the same shit has happened and Kansas escapes with a win because horrendous officiating. Maybe the Big12 is protecting them?

I don't know? Bad calls both ways! The goaltending call that was called on KU was an Iowa St. players hand in the net. The charge they called on Withey the defender was backing away and thought he commited the foul. Many, Many bad calls both ways. Every KU starter other than Ben had 2 fouls at the half.

And from a unbiased opinion, it looked like iowa st got fucked....bad.....
Obvious charge on last possession....but if u don't call it, it has to be a block....but neither, so they call it on the floor when both guys are hussling....bogus....
Then the 5th foul on withey called on young....that doesn't happen......ever....even more so on obvious plays like that....I can see with 4 guys battling under the boards, but man that was so obvious it was withey.....
No call before half....couple others that made me
But lemme say this, fuckin KU took advantage of their oppurtunities like a winning team does, and that fuckin kid who dropped 39, hit some of the ballsy most gutsy calls I've ever watched.....hittin 3s from deeeeeeeeeeep.
Overall fun game to watch, but feel ISU got hosed by officials....

I'm a KU fan. Just throwing that out there. The problem here was that the mayor has not learn how to truly coach yet. Great basketball mind, but only been coaching for a short period of time. Self said before the game said he was going to get a T and he did. Just to set the tone. The best coaches out there set the president with the officials. Hoiberg hasn't learn to do that yet. The mix up with Withey and Young. I agree should have never happened. They go back to the replay for everything else but not that??? So with that said, I glad my team won and I covered the spread.
