I understand this is tragic, and these people lost a teammate...

but how is the fact that he is a murderer, and killed the mother of his own child all being forgotten.

I keep hearing people say "honor belcher" and were decals with his name.....

fuck that, he is a killer and honestly they should all have to wear the name of the murdered girlfriend and innocent child.

am I the only one who thinks it is odd that this guy is being talked about as such a rallying point for this team, rather then a killer

feel terrible for the guy. must of been in a horrible place, but lets not forget what he did.

terrible is how I feel for the orphaned girl. and the family of the mother. selfish fuck,

League said they didn't want anyone wearing patches. Don't know if they will comply.

I need to add that I agree as well. How bad can your life be if you are getting paid to play a game, you have a new born from a beatiful wife.

WTF are you thinking.

I agree with the sentiments relayed above. I also want to add that I disagree with those who say the game should be cancelled - or played at a later date. If a driver kills his girlfriend and drives to the Coca-Cola bottling plant where he works and finishes it off in the parking lot - do they stop making Coca-Cola? Sorry if it sounds insensitive - but I believe it would be a disgrace to cancel the game because of a crime. And it was a CRIME - If they want to do something positive, take a percentage of the gate and put it in a trust for the 3-month old daughter. That's who matters in all this.

post game coverage still the same

players crying about how they lost a brother, which Is a terrible thing.

but they all say the same: "this was for him." "we did this to honor him"

don't honor a murdrer and a crime, honor the child by playing for it.

honestly this is a terrible situation. feel terrible for the people involved/
