I like KC's chances here as all their boppers are right handed hitters who each and every one have historically hit Halama well. For KC, Reichert is a vastly underrated pitcher who has matured this year. He's pitched against some tough opponents and held his own. I really like KC in this spot.

Something to ponder.....The difference between a winning bettor and a losing bettor is the ability to decipher what looks like is going to happen and what really can happen. Keep that in mind when your capping. Sometimes its tough to do but its essential if you ever wanna collect from your man. Fact is KC hits Halama and Reichert is underrated. For a chuckle I'll predict a score of 7-3 KC

Originally I had selected Sea. I know they have been pretty hot, so I thought I would go with the LHP here. But, upon further review, Halama has been struggling big time.
One of the things that puzzles me is the length of time between his starts. I am scratching SEA, thanks for the alert. Don't know if I will go with KC or not, but appreciate the warning flag.

Kevin I really value your info. You have been great all year (jumped all over Pitt vs Mil...Thanks!!!), just be careful. This could be a real slugfest.
Halama is 1-2 vs KC 7.58 ERA and 1.947 whip
Reichart is 0-1 vs Seattle 7.2 ERA and 2.6 whip
KC 1-7 series openers this year and 3-13 vs lefties
KC av 4.9 runs per game at home
Seattle av 6.3 runs per game away.
I look for the KC bullpen to blow another. Best of Luck in whatever you do!!!!

Ya pretty much gotta toss Reicherts career numbers out the window. He's matured this season. I like how he keeps the ball down and in too. I had him pegged as a gascan but he's really taken the turn and made something of himself. I'll take the dog action here.

Boy, what a foul game. Up 6-1, and blow the lead. The way they did it was Royalesque. Blow an exchange on a double play and the very next hitter the pitcher takes a grounder and throws it down the right field line. How horrible.

Are you posting against our Mariner's again?
Damn Kevin you've been hot as hell and it seems as though the only team you can't cap is our own team. Better lay off them lovable Mariner mutts. They defy logic, numbers and even common sense. They just never seem to know when they are beat. Gotta love those guys. ROAD TRIP, ROAD TRIP, ROAD TRIP gettin itchy. LMAO

Kevin,

cost a 4 team par.

good pick, but if one team has cost me more $$$ than KC the last 3 yrs, the only common denominator I see here is Tony Muser (he has to go), man does this team just snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

Spider has a great point. Being very familiar with the Royals, they are a hard team to figure out. Their bullpen is questionable to say the least. Hitting wise, they are still streaky even after the loss of Damon.

Bottomline, play against Meadows every chance you get. He has no business being in the Majors.

One man's opinion,
