LSU -5

Ohio State out gained Clemson by over 100 yards. If not for several piss-poor calls in that game, Clemson wouldn't even be here. LSU has proven time and time again this year that they are the best team in the nation.
Joe Burrow is a bitch and has the best compliment of receivers in the country. Frankly, I don't think this game will be close. The home-state crowd seals it for me.
I've got LSU 47 Clemson 24.

Last year Bama -5.5, All that was said this game won?t be close. 70% were right except Clemson blew em out.
As for OSU they had the lead in 4th, With Clemson @ own 5, they gave up a TD. So in crunch time the great ?D? failed. Now the mighty ?O? has a chance to go win it failed. I don?t wanna hear more Buckeye excuses.
LSU May win but they will struggle consistently moving the ball. All of the pressure has been ratcheted up on LSU, the greatest college football season ever all the accolades for individual players are now playing in front of the home crowd. What will they do if they get punched in the mouth like the ravens, They have never been in a close game all year.

I like your analysis Chas!! BOL!!

Common opponents, Tx A&M, LSU crushed them, albeit, Clemson played Aggies earlier, Clem also played UNC early, Texas gave LSU best "D" showing but that was early, last few games both teams played opponents with very good running attacks on 'O', but Oklahoma failed on that side vs LSU, Ohio St did pretty well early in the game vs Clem. LSU gets a couple players back tonight but the "mo" they have and the hype that Dabo & Lawrence are the best, just might give the Bayou Tigers a shot of adrenaline that could put up a bunch of points early in this tilt with the Pac whatever officials etc. Matchups will be talked about a lot by the TV announcers tonight and we all know what happens when they talk, LOL!

I agree with Chas also. Clemson is a great team and may very well win this game, but Ohio St had some really questionable calls go against them that changed momentum and gave new life to the Tigers. Clemson fortunate to be here. Most people seem to favor the under in this game, but I don?t. LSU only scored 23 against Auburn, but ran up over 500 in total offense, but was stalled by an inordinately high number of penalties. They?ll put points up tonight, I think, and Clemson will too. Whoever scores last....

Should be a great game!!!!!:toast:

One thing I've learned over the years...YOU CAN'T CAP TURNOVERS. Ohio State went right down the field in the last two minutes against that MIGHTY Clemson defense...in fact, over 500 fuckin total yards against that mighty Clemson defense! Also, you can't cap the fuckin replay booth when they obviously get it wrong and take a touchdown away from Ohio State. Maybe these ARE excuses, but the fact is Ohio State out played Clemson in that game whether you like it or not! In my opinion, LSU's offense is even better than Ohio State's. LSU has the best red zone offense in the nation. With Joe Burrow, they WILL score touchdowns, not field goals. All of this against pretty stiff competition. You can't say the same thing about Clemson. One other thing.....LSU's defense has been playing pretty damn good as of late. They got torched by Ole Miss, but in the four games since, LSU has allowed averages of just 86 rushing yards, 184 passing yards and 16.3 points. Against Georgia, Tex A&M, Arky and Oklahoma.

In my mind...THE ONLY WAY Clemson wins this game is by getting turnovers, which absolutely can happen.
That was the ONLY reason they beat Ohio State!!

GO BIG RED!

Fields Threw 2 picks in one game, had one on season. Saying OSU dominated Clemson and still lost hurts the case for OSU.
They didn?t make the plays needed to win, now your not thinking 🤔 clearly, because you think OSU should be playing.
So if Buckeyes did win and are playing LSU, would you be saying YOU love LSU to blow out the Buckeyes? If the answer is yes then I apologize. You have LSU way higher on your Power rankings than I.

I never said OSU dominated Clemson! I said they out played them. Yes, I'm a HUGE OSU fan. My one saving grace
from them losing to Clemson is they don't have to face LSU, because I don't think anyone can beat LSU, including Ohio State. I might be wrong, but this I'll guarantee you bos, it won't be the first time I've been wrong.

2nd Half LSU PK
That vaunted Clemson defense has held LSU to 347 yards in the 1st half.
This one is gonna get ugly!

Nicely done ✅
They got punched in the mouth and answered

For gambling purposes the Offensive PI to cut lead to 10. Was final nail, would of been interesting if it was called correctly.
