After a promising start, I've made some bad picks lately and I'm now below .500. I'm trying to figure out which teams will play hard and which teams won't. I can't for the life of me understand what motivates some and not others. My Arkansas loss was tough to take, but you could see it coming as the 2nd half progressed. Of course those of you that had Va Tech had a lot of fun watching that 2nd half. But there are still plenty of games remaining and some match-ups coming up I really like. All single plays for me today.

I don't know what kind of mind-set Stanford brings to this game with McCaffrey sitting out, but I'm banking on the team rallying around sophomore Bryce Love who averages 7.4 yards per carry vs a NC defense that ranks 113th and gives up an average of 235 yards per game on the ground. After early season struggles, Stanford replaced senior quarterback Ryan Burns with sophomore Keller Chryst, who led the Cardinal to five straight wins while throwing nine touchdowns and only one interception. Stanford posted over 500 yards of total offense in each of their last three games.
