Question posed to all.

Is there any good reasons not to take Kentucky-1 tomorrow at Georgia, the Bulldogs are in turmoil, KY is rolling, playing great defense, if you watched the Tenn. game, they really came out in the second half and dominated. Georgia is a good team, but I really think Kentucky has a shot at the National title, and I am not biased (well maybe a little) because I am a Louisville fan.

Lets get some good info/debate going, I am thinking of making this my game of the year.

Good luck to everyone, lets kill em tomorrow.

By the way, thanks, to Thunder, Volfan, Fletcher, Raymond, countingguy, sec guru, gibber, wizzard and the rest of you that I have forgot, you have made this week and year great!

And for new people, if you watch this forum and play smart with money management, you will win loads of money, don't sweat one loss, it is time that makes it.

Wow it is late, I need some sleep!

really not sure why people are lining up to lay their last dollars on kentucky. i guess natural public tendency is to blindly back the top 5 team in almost every instance.

my question would be this:

is there any reason not to play GEORGIA in this one?

how many games have the bulldogs lost at home this year?
the answer would be zero.

also, jmo- but i think the whole harrick-cole thing is really getting blown out of proportion in terms of bettors labeling it as "team turmoil". sure its a semi-distraction, but it has nothing to do with any active player on the roster quitting or being suspended or whatever.

if line goes to +1.5 or +2, then georgia is worth a serious look.

I think there are better games on the board... I would never bet against the best team in the country (by the way they are playing right now) especially when they don't have to do anything but win. Georgia is very tough at home and really wants revenge, but KY will come to play with that tough D. Game will be close, but wouldn't tough this one! (If I did I will play KY... They have really padded my bankroll this year) If Georgia was +4 it would be a value... Georgia +1.5 is no value..... but a coin toss...

Georgia is 12-1 at home this year. They lost to texas. And KY is 10-1 on the road. Looks like a good game to watch. Ky 13-0 in the SEC wow.

I added a little tidbit in thunder's thread about this game. I definitely think this is not a game of the year, not even a game of the day. it's hard to say a road team is a game of the year. georgia is an extremely good team, and along with kent and fla they will go far in the tourney. the harrick thing is a little issue, and nothing that will even be thought of when the #2 team comes to town. the crowd will be crazy, and ezra and jarvis will be good enough to score. i think this is a "homework' game, watch this to learn more about the two teams for the tourney, but don't unload on it either way. if kentucky wins or blows them out, i won't be surprised, nor will i be surprised if georgia beats kentucky.

I like Georgia in this situation. Revenge first game they played against Kentucky they were not playing well while Kentucky was playing their best ball. Last couple of games Georgia has steppedit up while Kentucky has slipped a little. Have to side with Georgia getting a win here.

Since this is a nationally televised game between two very good teams, is there really any reason to take either side?

High-profile tv games have a history of being closer to the number than we want them to be.

I just think that every time I think Kentucky is due for a let down they step it up a notch, I have seen most of their games as they put every one of them on TV here, and since the Vandy game they have played better ball in all aspects than any team that I have seen play. I am not disrespecting Georgia's chances, I just really think Kentucky is that good to beat them by 8 or 9.

I wouldn't bet against ky .... At best you have a 50/50 shot... You can't have an edge against this team...
