Chris Reeves died today. He played superman as I am sure everyone knows. The News today is saying he was a dear friend of Kerry. Why would they want to say that? They wouldn't say that if Kerry wasn't running for president. What are they trying to do, get sympathy votes? Chris Reeves is flying again and he is with the lord. The news should be talking about him, not Kerry being his best friend?

I know Christopher Reeves was very liberal in his views and I'm sure he was close to many democrats fighting for various things. He was a good man and his bravery was an example to us all. He has been released from his earthly body and is again flying free. RIP my friend. :sadwave:

Why get upset if the guy was Kerry's friend so be it, did you get this upset when Bush tried to act like he was a good friend of Reagan when he passed? Reagan's body wasn't even cold yet when they started to run adds trying to compare Reagan and GW until the Reagan family pitched a fit and Nancy has stated that she doesn't care for GW and never did! Reagan was the greatest President of my lifetime and for Bush to ever try to compare himself to a great man is a slap in the face of family and the American public! What happened to Christopher Reeves was a terrible accident that could happen to any of us and it is true that he had vast ties to many liberal causes especially stem cell research and many noble causes that helped less fortunate folks something Bush and Cheney know nothing about!
