Kiawah Island

Has anyone ever been here? I am leaving Sunday to be there until Saturday. I know my father-in-law and I are planning on playing plenty of golf but beyond that, we do not know what to do.

Any suggestions?:shrug: I will be there with my wife and her family.

I am a golf pro who worked a year there you will love it-it is beautiful.....play the ocean course and it will be the best round of your life---They had the Ryder Cup there in 1991---fantastic place

and visit downtown Charleston, its a beautiful city with lots to do and see. If you surf Folly Beach has the best waves in the vicinity which does not mean much!

I was at the big resort there about 6-7 years ago. Liked the golf there a lot. Was the first time I'd ever seen live gators sunning themselves on the course. The guys I was playing with tried to convince me that they were just statues and I should go look at one more closely to see for myself. Then one of them moved, and after that I didn't leave the cart without a 7-iron in hand.

Thanks for the info fellas. Heading out in about an hour. Stopping in Vol country for a wedding, then it's off to Kiawah. Knoxville is a dangerous place for a Bulldog these days!
