Correct. UH wanted it real bad as AT was causing all kinds of problems to its players. Also, the NFL chipped in with some $$$ because they did not like the hard AT and made it a stipulation if they were to continue the Pro Bowl in Hawaii. The NFL players just love bringing their families/girlfriends to Hawaii at the end of the year and the NFL knows that. If held any other place, they know a lot of players would find some kind of excuse to pass. So, to protect their players, they insisted that Hawaii's stadium change to Field Turf. With their $$$ investment, doubt we'll see the game played elsewhere with the exception of Japan.
