You bet that way and lose, KARMA BABY!!!!!!If I am banned, then never is he to be believed he is a Falcon fan. Has anyone bet against their home team on the Moneyline for the love of money? If so, show your colors. You are a diffferent FAN than most.

I know 2 teams well ... Bama & Titans ... never bet against the Tide but Titans are much more predictable ... and if you lose then it doesnt hurt as bad cause your team won :mj07:

I bet against the Steelers pretty much every week. Think a lot of times the local lines are inflated around here for these games because the degenerates up here would bet the Steelers if they were playing the 85 Bears and favored. My point, there is some value going against them as a lot of times they are the favorite, so they could win but so could I. All about the $.

I have made plenty of bets for and against the Cowboys and Jags because I know their tendencies better than any other team. I would never root against either one just because I have some green riding. Looks like you were up late drinking again.

Andy, I understand, just do not gget betting against a team you WANT to win, when there are so many other games to choose from. But, the part of knowing your own team well makes sense. Carry on.

this is one of the dumbest things I've read.

if you are a fan of a team, you follow them more closely than any other team and know more information than the average person who may be a fan of a different team.

you have a better feel to how they will perform, and you can sometimes see a weakness or strength if you have the ability to be an unbiased fan and think logically.

I am a Bronco fan and took the Falcons for 2x in the hippophart contest, and took the Falcons for 14 pts in a confidence league I am in.

I have seen Skipper post loads of winners in Vols games and he is a huge Vols fan. I look at his threads specifically to get his input on Vols games, along with a few other guys who have the ability to share an unbiased view on their favorite team.

You know when I was a kid or in my early 20's I would still root for my teams hard. I guess I still do but fuck them. Sports teams and players don't give a shit about fans. They have their agenda and that is to make money. I have no problem wagering objectively anymore and see no problem with people doing that.
