I hate to ask this question in fear of it being really stupid but here goes..........

INTERNET EXPLORER well it is at the bottom of my screne as I type...........in between typing I try to close the group , but it will not close completely so right now I have 11 ads hiding in internet explorer and every few minutes a new one pops up??????? How can I remove this or exit it off of my screne ??????

When I right click and try to close it 5 more come up :shrug:

Its most likely a really stupid question and I have refrained from asking several times , but hopefully you can help me get rid of it once and for all..............

Hold down the control, alt key and delete key at the same time. A window will pop up and you can re-boot, then you can attack the problem with a fresh start. You've got some kind of ugly spyware. After the re-boot run either Ad-Aware or Spybot Search and Destroy and clean out the cruft. It's not a stupid question at all, tech problems can make the most sane person crazy!!!
