NY KNICKS -5.5 vs. ATLANTA
Comments: Knicks have been playing much better since Van Gundy's resignation, and have actually put together a few win streaks in the past month. In their previous game, the third quarter meltdown at home versus the mediocre Clippers had to be a wake up call and will motivate the Knicks to play four full quarters tonight versus one of the NBA's weakest teams. In last five road games, Hawks have lost by 14 to Orlando, 23 to Minnesota, 16 to Detroit, 7 to Washington, and won by 3 at Miami. Atlanta is only 5-20 SU on the road this season and 10-14-1 ATS as the visitor. Hawks are also one of the league's worst defensive teams -- allowing opponents to shoot 46 pct. from the field. Look for Knicks to penetrate inside and score points tonight. The line opened at -5.5 and has moved to 6 and is up to 6.5 at a few offshores. I think any number -7 or less calls for a play on the Knicks. I see a 10-point win here for the home team, coming off the home collapse versus Clippers.

NOLAN alway's admired your work! had to stay away from that game, reasoning probably same as GSP'S! ny knicks and la lakers have been a thorn in my side all my betting years, but always noticed knick teams show up when you expect them to lose. you had everything down to perfect on this one, but at the end same ol' knick's! next game is @ orlando believe its is on tuesday, that will be one they will probably win s/u!
