Can someone name a worse announcer than Tony Kornheiser???

I swear, I can't stand this guy for so many reasons. On top of everything, anytime he starts to talk, it turns into a long rant that can only compare to Dixie Carter on Designing Women....a show I am ashamed to have seen to much of...

There are announcers I love and announcers I hate (Paul Maguire, Dan Dierdorf...) but I despise having to listen to Kornheiser and its amazing that he's on Monday Night Football. That's just wrong.

I love Jaws and Tirico, miss Dennis Miller, and can't stand Krapheiser...

Now let's get this OVER!

I like that Monday Night Football gets a "unique" guy in there. I think that most people just don't "get" Dennis Miller. He really is funny and definitely did his homework when it came to MNF but most people just didn't get his humor.

I love his obscure references, but some did go over my head. I think the best thing that can be said about Miller is that he was too smart for his own good.

I remember a game where a fan ran on the field and some guy for the Colts (I think) tackled him. He said "that's the worst decision I've seen since Crispin Glover went on David Letterman". A great analogy, but I don't think most people got it. Glover went on Letterman and was wearing high heels and kept trying to kick Letterman, it was really bizarre....

But the dumb-downed American audience just doesn't get Miller so the humor and football intelligence just didn't work. I really liked him on MNF but I guess I understand why "Johnny Six-Pack" didn't....not referring to you, Morris, just saying that most of America didn't get him.

I agree with what you're saying and for the most part I didn't understand a lot of his humor when he was doing it. I'm just not or never was a Miller fan. Then again back when he was on I didn't play too many Mon nite games so I probably missed alot.

Someone agrees with you.

SENSITIVE SIRAGUSA: Tony Siragusa wasn't happy with ESPN's Tony Kornheiser calling Baltimore lineman Haloti Ngata "fat" during Monday's Ravens-Steelers game. Siragusa made a living as a beefy lineman and has a soft spot for the big guys in the trenches.

"I'm not going to call a guy 'fat' because he's a big defensive lineman like we saw Monday night with Tony Kornheiser," Siragusa said. "He's got a lot of nerve calling somebody fat with that bald head and that horrible combover. I was a little (ticked) off."

I can't stand Dierdorf, he's awful. He is literally like Jabba the Hut. Right off hand, I think the 3 worst announcers are Dierdorf, Paul Maguire, and Kornheiser.

On top of it all, I just feel like MNF is a coveted spot and can't stand that Kornhole is on it.

I really like the premise of "Pardon The Interruption", but can't stand Kornhole or Wilbon, 2 idiots and Kornhole is the most pompous piece of crap I've ever seen.
