Kosovos/Belgrade Trouble Again

I was getting ready to post about this.
I just sent an instant message to one of my co-workers in St. Petersburg, Russia, to hear his take.

That was our flag and our embassy they tried to burn down. Oh look how cute a couple guys shooting moons. I hope are Marines are allowed to protect that embassy with all they got.

In the report it was an Albanian flag due to the conflict. But, yes, it was our embassy.
In response to my question about this, my Russian co-worker pointed to Abkhazia.

His question was why NATO/UN/basically all others are recognizing Kosovo as a separated entity but not Abkhazia that has been trying for 13 years.
I don't know enough about it to discuss intelligently, so I will leave it at that.
