You must have nerves of steel to continually pick what appear to be winners then have bullpens throw away games. It is every night. I have a new found appreciation for Mariano Rivera and others who were successful closers. The bullpens in today's games are absolutely horrible. Let's hope Atlanta can get a few. Continued success.
yep, they have turned the game around to far with this new livelier ball.
pitching is horrible everywhere. especially closers.
what burns my ass, is managers decisions
for example angels game today, game is 4-1 top 8 so angels still are in it.
reliever comes goes walk, homerun. then hit , hit , ummmmm why is this guy still in the game??
of course, then gives up 3 run homer. game now outa hand. and these goofs are in
wild card contention.
and padres yesterday, down 4-3 they bring in strahm who is horrible to begin with.
he gives up 2 in the 7th. then they bring him back out for the 8th and promptly gives 3 more.
game now outa hand. makes no sense to me.
