Carib has: Total combined runs scored through 5 complete innings only.

OVER 3.5 RUNS (-140)
UNDER 3.5 RUNS (+110)

I really like the OVER here. any thoughts from the big guns??

I actually like the under. . . from an Arizona perspective, Batista is usually solid up till the sixth or seventh inning. If Ishii keeps things under control, I don't believe we will see a lot of runs early on. Just my two cents!

If I were to take this prop bet I would put a small amount on the under. Decent (not Godlike) pitchers seem to really start dying in the 5th or later inning. K. Wood is a perfect example. Shutout through 4 then gives up 3 or 4 in the 5th. Seen this happen many times. Just my opinion. Either way TJ, pick the WINNER . :D

I like the over, because if Arizona want to win, they should hit Ishii early and don't let him grow up!

Seriously, I would consider the Under as well.

Ishii only allows a .246 average in innings 1-6 but then it shoots up to .273 after the 6th. His only start vs Arizona, he did give up 2 solo homers in the 1st 5 innings, but really he don't give up the long ball too much. Also the slugging % he allows shoots from .341 to .455 after the 6th.

Batista allows a little higher average earlier in the game:

.271 1st 6 innings
.254 after the 6th

But considering playing in LA, plus the fact that last outing vs LA, all the runs came after the 5th, I think the Under is the way to go.

Good luck TJBell

I should clarify that I meant to say Batista usually pitches solid through the first half or roughly five innings of the game. . . its when the top of the batting order comes up for the third time in a game that Batista struggles.

Should be interesting to see how it comes out. . . good luck on your play!
