La Tech -7 over Navy ****
Think La Tech with its high powered offense wins this by double digits...both teams lost their last 2 games... WKU beat La Tech but after watching WKU the other nite that loss doesn't seem so damaging. Navy with Abey at qb looked terrible...Army controlled the ball for 40 minutes compared to Navy's 19 minutes... Navy losing their Qb and top running back exposed them....they couldn't move the ball and when they were put in a passing situation Abey was just winging it...now they have had 2 weeks to prepare and get better but look who they are facing..
Higgins the Tech qb was 300-456,4,200 yds,37 td's,and 250 on the ground...His backs craft has 1,000 yds and 10 tds...his wr's forget it...Taylor and Henderson have 1,500 yds,and 1,400 yds 10 and 17 td's...this is an explosive offense that needs to be kept off the field...don't think Navy has the offense to control the clock...and if they are down by 10-14 pts they have to play catch up...and if they put the ball up that is against their strength...think La Tech is to quick for them....Navy lost to Temple because of the Owls were to quick on both sides of the ball...Navy sinks today....
