I have been watching the Lakersgm in and gm out and if Phil Jackson cant figure this out how the hell can I.Their is NO transition gm here. They sit back look to feed into Shaq and then Shaw gets dbl and even Triple teamed. Shaq either dunks, gets fouled or kicks it out to a teammate....his teammates of Horry (hesitant with the 3's due to no confidence) George who is an absolute horrible shooter, Rush...worst draft pick cant shoot at all...Fisher and Kobe come in spurts but tell me why when the ball is in low why cant U have UR feet set to shoot the 3(thats what I was always taught) instead a foot on the line...thats just piss poor dont give a rats ass basketball(not thinking). Giving up offensive rebounds looking to kick it out...KICK IT OUT!!! where in the hell R ya going?????their is no transition gm here...yes the ball is quickly across half court only to slow it down. And wouldnt ya think U would give it to Kobe or Fisher to lead the break...NOPE...its given to Horry who cant lead the break, dish off, or hit the outside jumper(hesitant remember, just watch him). You have to hit some outside jumpers to free Shaq...and if U dont Shaq works all night to get his pts in the jungle. The Lakers R a poor shooting tm. So U ask if U have Shaq play the slow down gm and set it up and let him do his thing...the outside jumpers will open up the underneath...and when they arent falling (which they usually arent) Shaq has to be his dominant self vs 3 defenders. Their R no shooters on a consistant basis who can hit the 3 to open Shaq up. Kareem Rush, George Horry, Fox, Fisher Bryant...these guysflurish in transition they love to fill the lanes and pass...Rush and George R very tough around the hoop but if U dont break U wouldnt never now this. Phil UR under 500 playing the slow down gm...open the shit up and let he boys play..it will free Shaq and Kobe up.....IF YOU DONT HAVE THE SHOOTERS FROM THE OUTSIDE W/A DOMINATE CENTER YOU CANNOT PLAY THE SLOW DOWN GAME. PROVEN IN THEIR RECORD..Phil ...their is no showtime because UR playing a 1965 style type of basketball gm..open it up and let George, Rush, Fox show they R tough in the up and down gm cause they cant play an half court gm where their shooting from 25-30 ft is not their strong suit. Their is no showtime its take UR time in a half court offense....OPEN it up let them run and fill the lanes....IF not...Lakers R out in the first round of the playoffs if they make it all all
