Laker Halftime anybody?

Wow the Fakers won, now Kobe can tell his team that if they make the playoffs they can compete with anyone and even take the Pistons out in a 7 game playoff series, Go Lakers Go, no seriously though the Pistons were due for this letdown just like the Nuggets game, and last night's Sonic game which they barely won, the Lakers shouldn't get to excited about this win, maybe if Lamar Odom can come to play like that every night they could actually have a decent team, too bad he only shows up about a dozen games a year.

nobody in this thread said the lakers were any good. they are a 7 or 8 seed barely in the west. kobe won't be telling his teammates anything, and he'll continue to win the scoring title which is all the lakers care about this year anyway. they aren't stupid although one could make the case that the majority of nba players would fail the wunderlic test. nobody said odom was great either. he had a good game and is a nice role player on any team. the lakers won't compete for anything this year, but again in 2 years when they have cap room they will compete for the title. just not sure why they hate.
