Rasheed & Kevin are going to hammer Bynum and Gasol. Once Sheed and Garnett put the strangle hold on Gasol the Lakers will become one dimensional. Kobe will always be Kobe. Rondo will trash Fisher. Pierce on Kobe and Artest will be chasing Ray all night.
I cant wait.

Going to be a great series if it happens:142smilie

when it happens:0corn

Still, the lakers are a completely different animal than the team boston manhandled in 08

The lakers can handle the physicality of boston now

You cannot discount that championship experience and the revenge factor

Anyway it has the makings of a classic 7 game series

Lets wait and see that LAL and Boston make it to finals, they should and it will be a great matchup. It will not be easy for Boston and they will not walk all over the Lakers, like said above LA is a different team and they will have home court.

Just like Orlando was favored and had home court. The NBA is all about momo and matchups. Perkins, Garnett and Wallace will handle Gasol easily and Bynum is no threat. Now LAMAR on the other hand is a pussy and is either doing layups or jumpers he has no post game and Garnett will eat his lunch.

Keep in mind this LA team now has Artest, so I could see him possibly roughing up Pierce too. It will be very interesting if or when they meet, can't wait.

That's what the "experts" said when Fish was going up against Westbrook, D. Will and now Nash. Like clutch said, Lakers are a completely different team than in '08. Gasol and Kobe are playing much better together now than before and Artest will be more physical on Pierce or Allen. Lakers will get their revenge from '08 and beat the C's in 6. Cookie #5 for Kobe! :mj06:

Hold on here. Westbrook had huge games vs Fisher. Dwill tore him up. Now Nash is just off his game. Rondo will leave Fisher standing still with some of his moves. Artest to me is a avg at best he takes really bad shots most of the time trying to be a hero. There is no revenge for 08'. What people are seeing LA do to this avg Suns team was to be expected. No one even expected this Suns team to make the playoffs let alone the Conference Finals. This was a team minutes away from unloading A'MARE at the trade deadline if not for one small glitch. They won their TROPHY by kicking the shit out of the SPURS. Boston is way too deep for LA. We will see come June.

In reality I dislike Kobe but this is the same as rooting for the Celtics vs Orlando. I think Boston is a better team. :0002

I don't like either team but I think Boston takes it. Boston is way too physical inside and that pretty much takes Gasol and Odom out of the equation. For some reason Pierce plays D on Kobe as well as anyone(IMO).

I think the key to the series is Rondo. Yeah the Lakers have Ron now but he's not that much better than Ariza where as Rondo is night and day better than he was 2 years ago. I think you see Kobe trying to stop him which won't work at his age. If the Lakers try to use Fisher on Rondo they're in big trouble. Westbrook tore Fish up and I expect Rondo to do more of the same. Celts will dominate the boards because both of their two big are more physical than the Lakers.

I love Gasol and like watching him play in the post more than anyone in the league but he's always played poorly when there are other big men that can move and play rough vs him.

Lakers really need Kobe to have a gigantic series if they want to win but even at that I don't know if it's enough.

Celts + the money is the only bet IMO.

Agreed. Well put. I dont like any of these teams but they do play good ball and good ball is what i like to see. Boston has the better bench.

LOL, it has nothing to do with being new. Trust me, when I post an opinion I walk away with my head tucked and hands over the top waiting for the rocks to be thrown. It's what makes this place fun.

Did you get the 2.1 release? I got it, like it and have no problems except my contacts are screwed up with the links to Facebook.

Lakers will win in 6 the Celtics are too old for a team that has that many scorers. They are not like the Magic where you can just go man on D. Howard who has no skill set and let everyone else guard above the perimeter.

Ron Artest will guard Pierce like he did with Indiana and will limit his production and there is not one person on the floor who can stop Kobe.

Fishers will give Rondo space and make him hit jumpers if he can do this then we could have a series.

Garnett will get his and Ray Allen will have a few good games, but LA is just too complete on offense and have enough length to defend the interior. Lakers struggle with teams that have superb athletecism aka OKC, that is something Boston doesn't have and this series will be won on who has the better half court offense which is the Lakers.

Lakers in 6 :toast:
